I am currently studying Interior Design student at the Wilson school of design in Vancouver, Canada. I was born in India and moved to Canada just a few years ago! I aspire to become a Registered Interior Designer and eventually get a Masters in Architectural Studies. Learning how to design different typologies in the field excites me. However, my favorite typology is hospitality design!
I am reliable and driven with strong organization and prioritizing skills. I am a strong team player and thrive in a collaborative setting along with years of playing in the girls basketball team in middle school. My ability to balance a full course load with part-time work has improved my multitasking skills and has helped me work well under pressure.
I have strong technical skills, and I can create schematics, details, and permit drawing sets using AutoCAD with ease. I am familiar with sustainability, lighting design, universal design, and and the BC building code. I can create photorealistic representations of lighting and materials using my Sketchup and Photoshop skills. I also enjoy creative writing especially essays on the design industry.
I love to travel, my favorite place that I've been to is Dubai. In my free-time I like to dance or listening to music, I also enjoy playing sports like basketball, badminton, swimming!
